Jeffrey, Karol and Joel Aylor,
Katie's loving parents and brother ,
Welcome
you to the Katie Aylor Memorial web site!

Our daughter and sister,
Katie Marie Aylor, died tragically at 5:20 PM on August 27, 2002 in an
automobile accident on Oregonia Road in Lebanon, Ohio. She was only
16 years, 6 months and 26 days old. Her friend, Brandi Cook, was
driving and also killed instantly.
Although Katie left this life on August 27, 2002, we can and
will keep her vibrantly alive with us in our hearts and thoughts. We
love and miss her now and forever.
We
built and maintain this web site for our family, Katie's friends and for
those not fortunate enough to have met her in this life. We hope
this is a beautiful, living and interactive memorial to Katie that allows
us to experience her life at any time and from anywhere we may be in the
world.
Our
page on Life After Death, provides valuable resources for
each of us as we learn healthy ways to live again. We highlight her love for life with pictures in Katie's
Photos.
We keep the music she loved so much alive through Katie's Music. We keep our thoughts and memories of Katie alive and share them with each
other as we communicate and interact in Katie's
Memories. We share with each other words of grace and comfort
through Katie's Poem page. We share Katie's
creative side and her artistic inspiration for others with her
Art page. We share
with you the many different places and ways Katie's family and friends are
keeping her memory with us through her Memorials
page. We show our appreciation for the City of Lebanon's kindness in
renaming the Turtlecreek Nature Reserve and
Walking Trail to the Katie Aylor and Brandi Cook Nature Reserve and
Walking Trail with directions and beautiful pictures on the
Nature Trail page. We look to the heavens
and share Katie's eternal life and light with you through her newly named Katie Marie Star.
We help Katie continue her efforts at helping and serving others through
her Katie Aylor Memorial Scholarship. You
help us make this web site alive and vital, just like Katie, by providing
your comments and suggestions through Site
Feedback.

I Believe
Every now and then
soft as breath upon my skin
I feel you come back again
And it’s like you haven’t been
Gone a moment from my side
Like the tears were never cried
Like the hands of time are holding you and me
And with all my heart I’m sure
We’re closer than we ever were
I don’t have to hear or see,
I’ve got all the proof I need
There are more than angels watching over me
I believe, I believe
Chorus
That when you die your life goes on
It doesn’t end here when you’re gone
Every soul is filled with light
It never ends and if I’m right
Our love can even reach across eternity
I believe, I believe

Forever, you’re a part of me
Forever, in the heart of me
And I’ll hold you even longer if I can
The people who don’t see the most
Say that I believe in ghosts
And if that makes me crazy, then I am
‘Cause I believe
There are more than angels watching over me
I believe, I believe
Thank you for visiting, please provide your feedback, and enjoy your
time with Katie!
